Remembrance Day

Just a reminder that Saturday, November 11th is Remembrance Day and school is not in session on Monday, November 13th.  We are looking forward to our assembly on November 10th to share the meaning of this important day. 

District Program Options 2024-2025

The entry years for District Program Options are Early French Immersion Kindergarten & Grade 1; Late French
Immersion Grade 6; and Montessori Kindergarten to Grade 4. This includes siblings of Montessori students who want to go into Montessori.

PAC November Newsletter

The PAC has prepared a newsletter for November. We cover the PAC's function, PAC events, and upcoming fundraisers. The PAC Newsletter is attached to this Family Update.

PAC Meeting - Monday, November 6th

The next PAC Meeting is Monday, November 6th. The Agenda is attached.

PAC Spirit Wear Fundraiser

The order period will run from October 30, 2023, to November 10, 2023. We have a few Spirit wear samples for families to see before placing their orders. Please see the attached order sheet.

Upcoming RAM Meeting

There was an error on our School Calendar. The next RAM Meeting is on November 14th.

Opportunity for Interested Grade 7 Girls 

GIRLsmarts4tech is an organization hosted by the UBC Department of Computer Science that empowers girls* and other underrepresented youth through engaging and transformative workshops. On Saturday, November 18, we will host a day of tech workshops at SAP’s downtown office for grade 7-8 girls*, to teach invaluable tech skills and build interest in tech careers. Attendees will receive an office tour, robotics and programming tutorials, and more! No experience is necessary.  Please see the poster below if you are interested! 

Healthy Mouths, Happy Children 

VCH Richmond Children’s Dental Program – Healthy Mouths, Happy Children  Free Dental Treatment – In partnership with UBC’s Dental Program, we are taking applications for children in Richmond from 3-12 years old who do not have dental insurance.  Call 604-233-3104 as soon as possible!
