Pink Shirt Day - February 28th

Pink Shirt Day is on Wednesday, Feb. 28! Originating from Nova Scotia in 2007, Pink Shirt Day has grown into an international annual anti-bullying initiative. This powerful movement symbolizes unity against bullying and promotes a culture of kindness and acceptance.

Please encourage your child to wear a pink shirt on February 28th, as a visible symbol of their commitment to stand up against bullying. Let's make a bold statement together and create a school environment that celebrates diversity and kindness.

Early Dismissal - February 29th

Students will be dismissed at noon (12:00 pm) on February 29th for conferences. 

The Eagle's Nest Snack Bar is Opening For Business

The Eagle's Nest Snack Bar will be opening for business on the week of March 6th. The Eagle's Nest will be fund-raising to offset the cost of Grade 6/7 outdoor ed and the Grade 7 Farewell activities. 

The shop will operate at lunch recess and all items will be $2. More information to come.

PAC Movie Night

McKinney's 2nd Pac Movie Night is on March 7th. 

Attached is the Movie Night Food Order Form.  These orders can be done on the MunchaLunch (https://munchalunch.com/schools/McKinney/) website by Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Submissions can also be done using the attachment with cash or cheque included.  Payment will be for James McKinney PAC.

Bring your picnic blankets, pillows, stuffies, and water bottles.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
