Dear McKinney Families,

A friendly reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 29th. Among many other things, our staff will be working to further develop our knowledge and skills around supporting learners with literacy.

Other Important January Dates:

International Holocaust Remembrance Day: January 27 is a day to pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and reaffirm a stand to counter antisemitism, racism, and other forms of intolerance.

National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia: January 29 is a date signifying the memory of the six victims of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and to reaffirm a stand against Islamophobia in all of its forms.

Kindergarten Hearing Screening - January 30th

Vancouver Coastal Health will be at McKinney on the morning of Tuesday, January 30th for the annual Kindergarten Hearing Screening. Please see attached for more information.
