Our series of Lunch and Learns, Planning with the Big Ideas in Mind, with three of our District Teacher Consultants, Jonathan Tang, Shannon Daly and Shaheen Musani, stretched to 4 sessions over the year. During the first session, our teacher consultants helped us grapple with the purpose of Big Ideas in the Curriculum and different ways to unpack and use them in our planning and teaching.

Over the next 3 sessions our teacher consultants helped us implement strategies for using big ideas in our planning. 

And, finally, how we might use this planning to prepare students to reflect on their learning using Big Ideas.
