At our June 2019 Pro-D Day our School Psychologist, Julie Becker, and her colleague, Erika Thauberger, spent a half day with McKinney staff exploring the topic of Executive Functioning.  We had opportunity to delve into the various aspects of executive functioning and how this looks in the classroom.  Staff were able to reflect by completing their own executive functioning checklist and also by working together to discuss several case studies.  In February of 2020, some staff may choose to attend a district workshop to further explore this topic.  The workshop will be led by well known speaker Sarah Ward.
