Learning About Drama Activities with "Emotions"

Our staff spent the morning with instructor Megan Phillips from the Richmond Art Centre learning about how to teach drama in the classroom.  We tried out a variety of drama activities and games that could be used with our students.  Many of the activities give students an opportunity to “play with” and “try on” different emotions.  As well, the activities allow students to be reflective about their behaviour, have control over their thinking and think ahead (cognitive self-regulation).
