Dear McKinney Families,

No School Friday, May 17th or Monday, May 20th

A reminder that this Friday, May 17th, is a Pro-D Day and Monday, May 20th, is Victoria Day. There is no school for students on either day.

Grade 6/7 Outdoor Education to Cheakamus

All participating grade 6/7 students leave for Outdoor Ed. tomorrow. Monday, May 13th.

Students are expected to arrive promptly at 7:00 am on Monday at the front door. Upon arrival, they will head to their respective classes, where teachers will take attendance, collect medical bags, and help them board the bus. We plan to depart from Cheakamus at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, with an expected return to school around 4 pm (traffic dependent).

May is Asian Heritage Month

As we recognize Asian Heritage Month this May, the Richmond School District would like to acknowledge the rich traditions, customs and history of the Asian community in Canada.
 
We are fortunate to have one of the largest Asian communities in British Columbia, and Asian Heritage Month provides us with an opportunity to recognize their valuable contributions to Richmond's development and success.

May is Canadian Jewish Heritage Month

As Jewish Heritage Month begins on May 1st, the Richmond School District would like to recognize the rich culture, heritage and history of the Jewish community in Canada.

Track and Field - District Track Meet - May 21st

Our District Track and Field Meet is on Tuesday, May, 21st at the Minoru Track. Participating Students will receive a notice early this week with all the details.
