Happy Lunar New Year 2024

Lunar New Year occurs on February 10, 2024. In Chinese tradition each year the Chinese zodiac is associated with an animal sign. Lunar New Year 2024 is the Year of the Dragon. The dragon is considered a symbol of strength, courage and good fortune.  Happy New Year to all McKinney families who observe this tradition. Richmond News has collected ideas for how to celebrate.

PAC Meeting - February 5th

There is a PAC Meeting at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 5th at 7:00 pm in the library.

Family Conferences and Early Dismal - February 29th

Students at McKinney will have an early dismissal day (noon) on February 29th to allow teachers to meet with families for parent/teacher conferences. A reminder that Term 2 Learning Updates go home to families on April 25th this year and not in March as they have in previous years. We recommend that you take this opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to receive a learning update and an update on their progress.

Richmond Summer Learning

Join our fun and engaging summer learning programs where you can explore new interests, learn new skills, review, or preview academic courses or complete a full-credit course. Registration begins in April for most courses.  Please see the attachment to this email for more information.
