Have a Safe and Happy Summer
Principal's Year-End Message
As we arrive at the end of another school year, I am filled with gratitude and admiration for the incredible dedication and support you have shown towards your children's education and our school community. The 2022-2023 school year has been a journey of growth, collaboration, and countless memories, and it is my honour to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.
First and foremost, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to our remarkable students. Their enthusiasm for learning, creativity, and resilience have been a constant source of inspiration for all of us. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch them flourish and mature throughout the year.
I would also like to recognize the incredible efforts of our devoted staff. Their unwavering commitment to excellence in education has provided our students with a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Their passion, innovation, and tireless dedication have truly made a difference in the lives of our students, and I am immensely grateful for their contributions.
Of course, none of our accomplishments would have been possible without your steadfast support as families. Your commitment to your children's education and your active involvement in school activities have made a significant impact on their growth and success. Whether you volunteered your time, attended parent-teacher conferences, or supported fundraisers, your contributions have fostered a strong sense of community and collaboration within our school. Thank you for being our partners in education.
We also bid farewell to some cherished members of our staff, we want to express our deepest appreciation for their contributions. Piero Sellitti, our compassionate school counsellor, has guided and supported our students. Madeleine Quon, our speech and language pathologist, has empowered students to find their voice. Katie Giesbrecht, Fatima Hamado, Stephanie Lin, and Angela Fajardo, our resource/ELL teachers, have been instrumental in supporting diverse learning needs. Kayleigh Cantwell, Division 7 teacher, has made tremendous contributions to our school and the students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to each of them. As we bid farewell, we also warmly welcome Michelle Lau and Yuri Watanabe our new resource/ELL teachers, Susan Austin as our school counsellor and Amber Karnowski, our new educational assistant. We look forward to their contributions and the positive impact they will make in our school community.
Once again, thank you for your trust, support, and active participation throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Your partnership has made a significant impact on our school's success and has created a vibrant community where every child can thrive.
