Dear McKinney Families,

We have been enjoying the lovely, warm fall weather at school. Many students are outside in t-shirts and shorts and it's October. Just a reminder that, when the fall weather comes, we will play outside, rain or shine. We had our first PAC lunch this week; Sushi. It was great. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to make the lunch program go so smoothly. We are looking forward to Individual Photo Day on Tuesday.

Monday is a holiday, there is no school on Monday.

October 10 - Thanksgiving - NO SCHOOL

October 11 - Individual Photo Day

October 12 - Divisions 5 & 10 are going on a hiking field trip

October 13 - Division 10 is going skating

October 19 - EARLY DISMISSAL - 1:45 PM

October 21 - Pro-D Day NO SCHOOL

Visitors in the School Building

Just a reminder that if you are inside the building to volunteer, for an appointment or for any other reason, you must sign in at the office and get a visitor badge. We are required to know who is in the building at any time.

Lost and Found

Our school Lost and Found box is full. We will be rolling it outside, by the office door, next week between 8:30 am and 9:00 am for folks to look through and claim their lost items. Please have a look. Items not claimed will be donated to a local charity.

Lunches

This is a reminder that we are asking students to come to school with lunch and a snack when they arrive in the morning.

Call for PAC Hot Lunch Volunteers

Our PAC has partnered with a local business to prepare lunches for families who want to use the service. The PAC is looking for volunteers to help with the organization and distribution of the food. Please call the school if you would like to volunteer.
